The Loeb Boathouse, NYC
An engagement gift, from the mother of a bride. We decided to paint the Loeb Boathouse in NYC, which was the location of her daughter's wedding. The focus was on not only the boathouse, but the atmosphere surrounding the site as well. I tried to capture this by including more of the foliage, the lake, people riding boats, and a peek of New York City's skyline behind the boathouse.
